City Center Completion
The completion of City Center’s hotels brought Lexington’s Central Business District (CBD) available hotel rooms to 1,183, finally allowing Lexington to meet the minimum requirements for large-scale meetings and conventions. City Center also added the first newly developed retail spaces to Lexington’s CBD in many years, designed to appeal to high-end tenants and shoppers. Additionally, City Center provided the CBD with the only new first-class office space since the Lexington Financial Center was constructed, providing the CBD with necessary new space for existing tenants to expand or major new tenants to relocate.
Lexington is truly the financial, educational, cultural, medical, professional, shopping and entertainment center for the eastern half of Kentucky. City Center serves as the “crown jewel” in a downtown that is alive and thriving and has provided Lexington with an opportunity to remain competitive with the rest of the country.
City Center is a new $240 million-dollar mixed-use development on a 1.88-acre full city block in the heart of downtown Lexington, Kentucky. Located within walking distance of the Lexington Convention Center and famous Rupp Arena, it includes a 700-car underground public parking garage; a 216,881 square foot tower with retail and restaurant space on the ground level, office, and private penthouse condominiums above; and an elegant 218-room full-service Marriott Hotel; and a 119-suite Residence Inn by Marriott.
The Fountains at Palomar
The Fountains at Palomar is a new multimillion-dollar mixed-use commercial development situated on 16.25 acres located at the prestigious corner of Man O’ War Boulevard and Harrodsburg Road in Lexington, Kentucky.
The development contains lots for multiple tenants occupying approximately 100,000 square feet of available space.
The Fountains at Palomar hosts tenants from retail, restaurant, healthcare, fitness, and banking industries. This new development has become part of the dynamic selection of dining, shopping, and neighborhood amenities available in Lexington’s popular southwest district serving the surrounding neighborhood communities of Palomar Hills, The Glades, Plantation, Rabbit Run, Harrods Hill, Stonewall, Beaumont, Firebrook, Dogwood Trace, and the rest of South Lexington and Nicholasville.
Citation Center
Citation Center is a new mixed-use commercial real estate development in Lexington, Kentucky sitting on 28 acres on the corner of Georgetown Road and Citation Boulevard.
Currently in the planning and permitting stage, this project will ultimately provide the north side of Lexington with over 130,000 SF of much needed retail, restaurant, healthcare, and professional office space. The development is planned to have multiple buildings providing space for many tenants new to the North side of Lexington.
Citation Center has a projected budget of $60 million and is expected to be completed in 2026.
